INDIVIDUAL THERAPY
Understanding the pattern
is one thing.
Changing it is another.
Maybe you know exactly why you overthink, shut down, people-please, stay too long, push yourself too hard, or struggle to give yourself the same grace you give everyone else.
Knowing why can be powerful. But sometimes insight alone doesn't change what happens when you're anxious, overwhelmed, triggered, grieving, uncertain, or trying to navigate something you've never had to navigate before.
Therapy gives you a space to understand what's happening, work through what's underneath it, and practice responding differently.
Not because everything is falling apart—but because you're ready for something to change.
How We Help
You don't need a name for it yet.

Sometimes you know exactly what's bothering you. Other times, it's harder to explain.

Maybe you've been more anxious than usual. You're having a hard time in a relationship. Something changed and you're struggling to adjust. You don't feel like yourself. You're grieving something other people don't seem to understand. Or you're simply tired of responding to life in ways that no longer feel like you.

You don't need a diagnosis, a crisis, or the perfect explanation to start therapy.
We can start with what's happening now and figure out the rest together.

THERAPY ISN'T JUST FOR CRISIS
Sometimes people wait until they're overwhelmed, burned out, or in the middle of a crisis before giving themselves permission to ask for support.

But therapy doesn't only have to be about getting you through the worst moment.

It can be a place to understand yourself better.
To work through something you've been carrying for years.
To prepare for a transition.
To improve your relationships.
To learn how to communicate differently.
To make peace with something you can't change or finally change something you can.

Sometimes the goal isn't to get back to who you were before.

It's figuring out who you want to be next.
You don't have to wait until
everything falls apart.
Therapy is more than talking about what happened.
Of course, we'll talk. But our work doesn't have to stop at telling the story or understanding why you feel the way you do.
We'll pay attention to the patterns that keep showing up, the beliefs underneath them, and what happens emotionally, and sometimes physically, when those patterns get activated.

Depending on what you need, our work might involve challenging a thought, sitting with an emotion instead of immediately trying to fix it, noticing what's happening in your body, practicing a difficult conversation, exploring an old experience, or trying something completely different between sessions.

Understand.
Make sense of the patterns and experiences that have shaped you.

Process.
Work through what still feels unresolved instead of only learning how to manage around it.
Practice.
Try new ways of thinking, responding, communicating, and relating to yourself and others.

Therapy should give you more than insight. It should give you opportunities to experience something different.
GETTING STARTED
Getting started doesn't have to be complicated.
1
Let's Talk
We'll start with a free consultation. It's a chance for you to tell me a little about what you're looking for, ask questions, and see whether working together feels like a good fit.
2
Your First Session
Our first session gives us more time to talk about what brings you to therapy, what's been happening in your life, and what you'd like to be different. We'll begin identifying what might be most helpful for our work together.
3
Ongoing Therapy
From there, we'll decide together what makes sense for you. Therapy is individualized, so what we focus on—and how we approach it—will depend on your needs, goals, and progress.
